We are pleased to invite submissions for the 7 th European Conference on Sustainable and Innovative Public Procurement, which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, 20 November 2025. The conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and experts from different scientific areas to share insights and discuss recent developments in public procurement. The event will provide an opportunity for exchanging ideas, presenting innovative work, and fostering collaboration. Also, the statutes of a new European Society of Public Markets will be discussed, and the participants will be invited to be founding members.
Submission Format
Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (between 1,200–1,500 words), which will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts will be presented during the event (oral presentation). After the conference, authors will have the opportunity to submit a full paper for inclusion in a special issue of the European Journal of Public Procurement Markets (https://www.eupublicmarkets.com/). Full-paper submission will be subject to a separate review process and this issue is scheduled for May 2026.

Submission Guidelines
Extended abstracts must be written in English and follow the following formatting instructions. Title: Maximum of 10 words. Length: between 1,200–1,500 words. Font: 10-point Century. Length: between 1,200–1,500 words. Spacing: Single space, with 8-point spacing between paragraphs. Keywords: Include 3 to 5 keywords. Layout: Text in a single-column format, with a 2 cm margin on all sides. Figures and Tables: - Figures must be numbered with captions placed below each figure. - Tables must have centered titles and numbering placed above each table. - Use 9-point Century font for all figure and table content, including captions and titles. - Titles and numbering must be in bold. - Maximum width for figures and tables: 6.5 cm.
